This sketch shows my new amaryllis plant from it's start to what it
looks like right now. I have to confess that I had planned to only
paint the part of the plant that is in the circle....but I have a short
attention span sometimes, and already started painting the whole thing
before I remembered that. So, a slight change of plan. LOL! I intend
to do a few more sketches as the bud opens and perhaps a quarter sheet
painting when the bloom is at it's peak. (If I'm not away at a collage
workshop in Myrtle Beach when that happens).
It looks great the way you did it! I like how you have the other stages along the side. I hope it blooms for you before we leave. If not, I hope you can get Kevin or Flor to take some photos for you...or bring it along in the car. lol You have the same problem with the am amaryllis each year.
